It’s an interesting disease, I guess is what you call this, but when you dig deeper… Let’s go back to my last pregnancy, 1977….
At 6 months gestation we thought I had appendicitis and they chose to remove it while I was pregnant…
The Air Force did 2 abdominal surgeries in 78 & 80, with in a year or two…
By 83, I could tell something was off and I requested a referral to a civilian GYN specialist and the commander denied that request in writing and it’s in my military medical records…
So, Japan happens and I have emergency surgery 15 months after discharge…
Now thats not enough time in between things for adhesions to become “Mass Adhesions”, and that is what the surgeon on Japan ran into, MASS…
I have read that surgical report so many times, because the Air Force did everything they could to destroy me to keep the rape on base quiet…
What Dr. Blake found was that my small bowel was being strangled by those adhesions and that was getting to the point where rupture would happen and we all know, ecoli in your gut kills….
Dr. Blake wrote in the file that he put somekind of product in my cavity, to protect the organs from any more attacks by the adhesions… We all assumed those adhesions were from surgery… They couldn’t have been…
About 15 years ago, the Little Rock, VA, took a MRI of those adhesions and I am wondering if the pancreas was in that picture… but, it’s purpose was to scan for the scar tissue, and I would think, they would look at organs…
The sinus issues, the digestive issues, are either from me having this defective protein or it’s all related to domestic violence and from early writing you know, I have had digestive issues since I was a child…
I know Friday, telling the doc, give me a drug for the MRI, I will freak out, no doubt about it… That is one memory that still alludes me??? Who locked me in and when???
Discussing things with Homer as this throws a wrench into our lives, on if he feels capable of driving, as long it’s in town only… I guess we will find out Friday, because that’s when I see the doc and Homer is going to drive…
Going back a year ago, before the sleep meds helped, I wouldn’t even consider letting him drive… It’s amazing what pain relief and a sleep med can do for a body with dementia… As long as he stays at this pace, we could see many more years together…
Fog is clearing, I have more reading to do, but it could go either way on this… Disease or domestic violence… I am betting on the violence…
I remember…
