I apologize, but memories are hitting me right and left and memories from those first 14 years that have been missing, just came home!!! (shaking so exicted and hard to type!!)

Again time line issue, so I will be off just a month or two… but here goes…

Don was stationed at Montgomery at one of the bases for 4 years and during those 4 years, he went to the bay of pigs and Freda tried to kill me… (See boob blog) Don’t ya love my titles???

Then he gets orders for DaNang, Vietnam and the time line is wonky so I will make mistakes, but I got to get this down…

I think he left for Vietnam around September or October of 1966…

We sold the trailer and mom drove us all to Bonita and we rented the house on the road, and just down the road from Uncle Dan’s and Aunt Neice’s farm… Big ass family…

Mom’s boyfriend lived in a parish outside of Bonita and I can see him in my minds eye and damn, he was good looking, even at 6 years old I, knew that and when I saw him again at 12, he didn’t disappoint…

Now I remember the weather being cold and Freda was raising baby chicks for the farm in the laundry room and she would go out saying it was for church and then all of a sudden, she didn’t go anywhere, but a hospital…

She was 6 weeks pregnant and Don had been in Vietnam for a few months and it couldn’t be his and did I tell you about her hormone issues??? Yea on steroids…

Next thing I know Don is back from Vietnam and it’s around March or April and the next thing I know…

We are in Big Springs, Texas…. Before Mother’s day… See BLOG…

So May of 67 we have seen Don go from Montgomery, to Vietnam, to Big Springs, Texas and within of a year of that assignment we were on our way to Japan… because of the lock up and my death and my older brother being sent away forever…

Yea, I just got real weepy, hope it’s not the pot…

All of this happened for one reason and one reason only…

Freda had mental health issues that impacted her, her whole life…

I remember…
