Khino Bay Mexico…

—

I believe the carving is out of iron wood, which is endangered… Lovely place, Khino Bay, Mexico… We spent 9 months down there in 06, after Don passed away…

So why the write???

Using this unique memory ability and I asked myself to go back in time and see if anyone made diet suggestions or thought I was lactose intolerant or suggested meds for gerd or for the IBS C/D/U and then I remembered…

In Arkansas, before we left after Don’s death, they were the ones who put me on tryglecride medication that the doctor in Tuscon said, “never take a med for that issue”, and that’s all I remember…

But the VA in Arkansas did give me diet advice and it was partially right and wrong… How do I know???

Eating!!!! Not a foodie, I eat, because I have too, otherwise, I really could go without eating…. The heavy and internal pressure and pain that has walked with me for 6 decades, has a name…

Pancretitis….

So hints of the condition were there as early as 78, when the state lab couldn’t identiy the low grade infection…

No one ever checked the pancrease, ever… They did all the other awful painful tests, but a simple few drops of blood and stool sample and they know if I have a deficency… Remember I said my white count has always been wonky!!!…

I have to own some of this… I am a gypsy at heart and settling down was not on my radar until I suspected the dementia, then I started working towards setting us up as best I could, so Homer gets good care and I have done that… All the while fighting to break free of the bonds of Pancreatitis….

I doubt I will have appointments real fast, so, in the mean time… Our grocery shopping has changed and what we eat from here on out will be different… Only thing I don’t like, Wheat bread, but I make our rolls homemade, so, time to try wheat bread flour… Most everything else they recommend to eat, we already do, but I was throwing a wrench in some of those meals, not realizing how much sugar was in mayo or how much fat in 1 ounce of cheddar cheese… The list is geared towards mediteranean diet, which we do, but not fully… Looks like thats my next stop on the journey…

Learn to watch my intake and If I have relief after eating and not an attack, then, yep, this degreeless human solved a 67 year old mystery… Spleen had trauma, so you can bet, they hit the pancrease too…

So, going back and looking at all the doctors I saw, since the military service, some of them were on the right track, but some, were so arrogant, I wasn’t interested in being their patient, that might have bite me in the ass too…

So, warning signs were there, all the way back to 1960 when Freda beat me and because of the intense brain fog I was under, it took me a few years to piece all of the memories back together…

Now IF I could remember those years before the stroke at 14, I would be a happy camper…

I remember….

● About Me

I am Maggi, given that name on Okinawa during the Vietnam war by a group of Marines in transit at Naha AFB… At 17 years old I didn’t know I was missing memory… I had lost the first 17 years of life and was about to embark on a journey of intrigue, murder, rape, military coverup and live a life, most only dream about… Will I ever remember my youth or will I always walk in shadow not knowing who I was…

This is my story of survival…
