Another Myth, gone…

—

How’s your day going… Mine, okay, but the flare up is taking the wind out of my sails and it’s triggering all the symptoms of Pancreas issues…

I thought I was finished with my research and then I got to thinking, a very dangerous proposition, but chose to do it anyway and realized…???

I was going on a old reading from decades ago about fatigue…

Now we know ever since the stroke at 14, that bleed caused fatigue… The TBI in Texas the year before, caused fatigue… Only one little problem…

Last blow to my head was 1972 is my thought, the year we got orders for humanitarian because Don’s mom was ill, but, she always was… Heart disease and she lived another 16 or so years… (Sorry I digress)

I know fatigue was an issue in the military but I can’t say for sure, it was an issue when I was teenager… and that can be hormone related for all the internal injuries, I was a late bloomer and only had organs for 7 years after they bloomed… and the fatigue went into overdrive…

That fatigue would haunt me my whole adult life and I always thought the stroke and TBI were it, but it’s so rare for it to last decades, well, I open pandora’s box by going to the ER and here we are, me ranting about the pancreas…

Now the caveate….

The fatigue and the depression came and went and when we were in Arkansas I asked the shrink how can I have clinical depression when I have nothing to be depressed about??? He couldn’t answer it, no one I saw could… So I quit the head drugs, I quit the stomach drugs and I quit the statans…

I also think I know what the main trigger was too, but I want tests to back up that opinion… it’s about what we ate for years that may have caused the flare up…

So it wasn’t my brain bleeds or my TBI or concussions that make me feel fatigue, what I feel is symptoms that all are working together because of one issue, I don’t produce the enzyme needed to break down fats and we know that without even doing the enzyme test…

How high is your tryglicerieds???

Mine are maxed out and guess what, I can’t take the medication for it because it would do me under, 6 feet… Doc told me at Tucson VA in 2006, never to take any drug for my tryglicerides… Now we know why…

Pancreas…

So clues were there, except, I didn’t stay put to long anyplace and I was becoming a very combative patient, which isn’t who I am, but seriously, I was going there and pissing off health care wasn’t that hard to do… Thus the crazy BP at the VA 200/101!!!

As I wait for the tests and MRI, I am adapting our food to do what the literature says…

Tomorrow is spaghetti… Homer’s favorite… I am hoping I have no reaction ….

I remember…

● About Me

I am Maggi, given that name on Okinawa during the Vietnam war by a group of Marines in transit at Naha AFB… At 17 years old I didn’t know I was missing memory… I had lost the first 17 years of life and was about to embark on a journey of intrigue, murder, rape, military coverup and live a life, most only dream about… Will I ever remember my youth or will I always walk in shadow not knowing who I was…

This is my story of survival…
