Hypothesis? or Good Guess???

—

Sunday’s ER visit started off a cascade of requests and my doing a lot of reading… With my short term memory issues from a TBI, this isn’t the easiest thing I have done…

We know from tests done while active duty, I was walking with injuries and no memory of how I got them, or at least I think that’s how it went down… Now, I am not so sure…

Brain fog has been my biggest hurdle with remembering anything from my past… Add a half dozen major operations with heavy anesthesia, a botched surgery at El Paso VA, toss with a touch of COVID!!! Where do I start???

We know I had the brain fog in the military because of the psych tests I was given and the one I paid for… One test done straight and the paid test done high on pot and got same results…

Now that same test was administered to me at El Paso VA back between 2008 and 2013… and when the shrink wrote up his remarks, the results on the test are a 180 from what it was in 83…

The El Paso VA shrink wrote I had PTSD due to my illness and above average IQ… (Tells ya the brain fog wasn’t active, or at least, not heavy)…

So my hypothesis is this………………………………….

At age 5, Freda beat me so severly she injured my pancreas and spleen… Then Don beats me at 13 and I die and get blockage in my aorta, again, good opportunity to injure those organs, even at 13…

At 13, I was less than 100 pounds at 5ft 7in…. There wasn’t much in the way of fat on me and because I received beatings regularly, my body was forever in healing mode as per the nuclear bone scans showed up till my late 30’s…

My bet, that injuries internally, are what caused the Pancreas to form these cysts and it’s not age related, but, because none were there in 2016 and there are cysts now, well……………………………..

Cannabis use can both trigger acute pancreatitis and, in some contexts, be used under medical supervision to manage chronic pancreatitis symptoms. [1, 2, 3]

That little blurp about pot is important…

When we moved to Hawaii, we hadn’t been into the pot scene very heavy and we get to the Island and we can grow our own… Within months, Homer was harvesting high quality medical pot for us to use….

So from 2017 till now, about 10 years, I have been a heavy pot smoker and I really think that’s what caused the cysts on my pancreas and only because it was injured by the 2 beatings I talk about above and keep in mind, I don’t remember every beating, so likely, there are more that I am not able to remember because of the brain bleeds…

My bet, pancreas was injured and altered it’s ability to release the enzyme it does for our digestion and it’s been like that since I was very very young… So I keep going back to the 5 year old TV interview beating by Freda as the culprit…

This morning I go see the doc and we talk about the next step in this process and because the VA denied me the right to see a GYN/Urologist, that request will be going back in and this time in writing through the doctors office today…

I had an appointment to see one, but on my dime and we just can’t afford it and I knew something was off and may not be the problem I thought it was, that all changed Sunday in the ER….

Blood work, request Open MRI at Cedar Lake, because Homer can’t drive, he shows to much distracted behavior and confusion with his dementia… So anything I have done, I got to be able to drive and closed MRI, you got to knock me out!!!!

Anyway, off to get ready for my next adventure in my health care… My internal organs is something I have pushed for a MRI before, now, it’s an emergency and it will be done in the next few days…

I expect the blood work to show what is happening and the MRI to show that nothing is growing or pus or anything else… Just tiny little cycsts that I may have irritated smoking pot like it was disappearing… (It is for me, what we have left is all we will buy, I got a feeling I am one of the lucky ones with this)….

Have a wonderful day, I hope to have answers today about what is what and not my speculations…

I remember…

● About Me

I am Maggi, given that name on Okinawa during the Vietnam war by a group of Marines in transit at Naha AFB… At 17 years old I didn’t know I was missing memory… I had lost the first 17 years of life and was about to embark on a journey of intrigue, murder, rape, military coverup and live a life, most only dream about… Will I ever remember my youth or will I always walk in shadow not knowing who I was…

This is my story of survival…
