Biloxi VA did me Solid…

I have never liked being in hospitals and what do I do when I go active duty…???

I go work in a medical clinic and the dental clinic was my job…!!

The state of Mississippi got about half a billion dollars and some of that was put into the Biloxi VA facility, in fact, several buildings there are being revamped and the ER was one of those they did first and it was open when we went today…

We were not there 10 minutes and I was in a room seeing a doctor and the next thing, I got a IV, she is drawing blood and they make the guy come in for the CT scan… He was so nice and said, it’s okay, I get paid… with a huge smile…

What started Friday, escalated into a full blown bladder infection so we hit the VA ER and I got no complaints…

I got top notch care, by professionals and not one employee was sour or disgruntled or anything… They all seem to enjoy being there doing their jobs…

The infection wasn’t a suprise… The CT scan was…

In 2016 in Feb or March I passed a gall bladder full of stones… I was told when they did the ultrasound in 2011, they were tiny little stones…

One sister had her’s removed and a couple other siblings had kidney stones…

My scan today…. ZERO!!!! All gone from the episode in 2016 and none came back… That was a surprise…

But, the pancreas really surprised me… I have cysts on mine or in my pancreas and from what I was told, they are begnin and more than likely age related… But, they are ordering a MRI to be sure they stay that way and I’ll be getting a MRI yearly, I imagine…

But those cysts, explains something I have been experiencing for a few years and that’s bloating, etc, because of the pancreas… I don’t really get it… I have never been diabetic, so I am betting this is all age related and not a big deal… But at least I know when I have those symptoms, what is causing them is the pancreas…

My arm looks like a war zone, because hitting the vein wasn’t easy… The bladder is letting me know that the meds haven’t kicked in and I am just happy, I didn’t go cuckoo being in the VA facility… My bp was 179/74…. That’s a whole lot better than 200/101…

So PTSD, yea, me and federal buildings will never jive… ever….

That’s all I got… Happy customer, satisfied with my care and I will gladly use the VA ER again if I ever need it…

I remember…

● About Me

I am Maggi, given that name on Okinawa during the Vietnam war by a group of Marines in transit at Naha AFB… At 17 years old I didn’t know I was missing memory… I had lost the first 17 years of life and was about to embark on a journey of intrigue, murder, rape, military coverup and live a life, most only dream about… Will I ever remember my youth or will I always walk in shadow not knowing who I was…

This is my story of survival…
