Brain Healing is not Chronic!!!

morning cuddles from the middle child….

I have chronic conditions that have been the way they are since the first injury inflicted on me at a year old…

The compartment syndrome at 5 along with blunt force trauma fractures all over my body and throw in internal injuries…

Then by the time the TBI happened in Texas… I was walking chronic inflammation at 13 years old and now I get a brain injury, and not the first one either…

I already had over 20 concussions by the time the TBI happened… So my brain knew dizzy, nausea’s, funky vision, headaches, need I go on???

The brain has always been in healing mode and that is not a chronic condition that is the brain rebooting!!!

Treating brain trauma as chronic, implies it can’t get better and I am living proof it can…

Just a pet peeve, the college educated, who never walked a day in the shoes of brain injuries, I don’t think they get right…

I remember…

About Me

I am Maggi, given that name on Okinawa during the Vietnam war by a group of Marines in transit at Naha AFB… At 17 years old I didn’t know I was missing memory… I had lost the first 17 years of life and was about to embark on a journey of intrigue, murder, rape, military coverup and live a life, most only dream about… Will I ever remember my youth or will I always walk in shadow not knowing who I was…

This is my story of survival…
