You Can’t Outrun PTSD…

A change, from decades of living with that disorder… A disorder that can take you into places you never want to see again… You would rather face a leopard eating your face…

My PTSD had me walking with a rage that was all consuming…

For one thing, having amnesia…

For another thing, how the Air Force covered up so much violence…

For another thing, how corrupt the employees in the VA system really are…

For another thing, not being told my mother was in Hospice and I was only 8 hours away…

PTSD makes you either fight like hell or run like hell and for 7 decades…

I ran like hell…

It’s odd, this loss of agnst, anger, desire to lash out, the want and need to hurt those that did this…

It’s odd how it died with them…

Now that is definitely kicking someone to the curb and that has certainly happened…

PTSD will always be in the back ground, humming away, saying it is never over and I will be in the foreground letting PTSD know it no longer owns me…

I own it…

I remember…

About Me

I am Maggi, given that name on Okinawa during the Vietnam war by a group of Marines in transit at Naha AFB… At 17 years old I didn’t know I was missing memory… I had lost the first 17 years of life and was about to embark on a journey of intrigue, murder, rape, military coverup and live a life, most only dream about… Will I ever remember my youth or will I always walk in shadow not knowing who I was…

This is my story of survival…
