Electrician, plumber, builder, landscaper, painter… drywall, nope not my thing… But I can do all the other stuff… Now I took on a RV and not so smart or brain farts hit like a 2 by 4 between the eyes, when the smoke cleared!!!!

Yep, I burned up the new fan… How???

I doubted myself and I allowed chaos to step in and it wasn’t his fault, but it didn’t help…

I have hung ceiling fans, rewired outlets, strung line, tear apart computers and fix them… Fix most anything electronic, as long as parts aren’t broken… Plastic, yea, I don’t got a 3D printer…

So I fried the new cheap fan I ordered, because I doubted myself and reversed the wiring, when in fact, we had a blown fuse… RV is DC & AC… All lighting usually is DC… Your outlets will be 110, but not your lights, unless you hard wire a light…

So, yep, I blew it and get online and of course, everyone is having a sale for what ever reason they do this time of year and the new fan will be here Friday, along with proper ceiling tape for exterior usage and before I take the new fan up on top of that 5th wheel, I am checking the wiring inside first to be sure it works and have a few extra fuses, just in case…

My frustration at my own mistake that costs us is exactly how the mind of dementia patients work…

Confusion, self doubt, little self awareness and stubborn unhelpful behavior…

Lesson learned… next project will be the hot water tank… Selling this 5th wheel is necessary, we will never use it for any other purpose but as a guest house…

Time to relax after smoke and stinky wire filled my nose…

I remember… sometimes…
