Been a week since the ER visit and all I have done, dive deep into anything Pancreas and I’ll be honest…. Totally blown out of the water… Hypochondrac I am not… So I never read about the organ or thought about it, because we all know it’s well protected…
But not in a 5 year old…

I have had at least 3 upper and 3 lower GI tests done and nothing major was found, no sign that it was my Pancreas… CT scan in 2016 was clean and so was my colon…. Scan on Sunday says other wise and boy did I get some attention in the ER and some reassurances…
What is going on could actually be related to aging… I am 72 now…. But it’s not aging and how do I know this???
Everything I have read, can be misdiagnosised for decades and I am one…
There is a test they do, but it’s not blood, it’s a stool sample and they look for this enzyme type thing that is supposed to make our Pancreas work right…
Well we know I suffered a blow near the spleen and that’s right there where the Pancreas is and I was only 5 years old…. Not just one blow, but several to my backside… Above picture shows the bruises…
So why the write???
I can drop up to 15 pounds in 7 days and that’s not startving either… I told you before my nickname was Olive Oil or Skinny Winney, I was so thin and that thinness, didn’t just happen because I was a kid, no, that skinny kid couldn’t eat and many times I passed on dinner and had a sandwich and that made things worse or I went hungry…
Normal weight loss, unless you are working your butt off, is 1 to 2 pounds a week… I never knew that, because I thought my loss was normal…
I told Homer I can go back in time and see the weight loss and realize, I was having a Pancreas flare up…
Remember I told you in Arkansas in 2005, my white count went up to 15,000+ and we were going to Washington to see Homer’s family and they had me get blood drawn every few weeks and it came back down to normal…
That wasn’t the first time it happend either… Cancer scares have been the norm for me since the hysterectomy in 78…
So last night’s all nighter that started at 12:30 after midnight and that was the last sleep I got… and I feel like I have been to hell and back in pain… All to familiar….
So I am anxious to go see the Gastro doc and hope he does the enzyme tests before we do any other tests…
Mongolian Barbecue beef stir fry was what I cooked last night… Tonight, it is Sweet and Sour Pork… and Monday, Fajitas…
Those meals could very well be the last time I cook those…
I have been making changes to my diet intake for decades, finding a balance, so I can keep it down… Never did I think seeing undigested food in the toilet was an indicator of Pancreas issues and that view is a view I have known since the TV interview beating…(see early blog)
I remember…
