Action Collaborates a Memory…

There are many people out there with all kinds of muscle and nerve diseases and their medical situation is rarely caused the way mine was caused…

Do you exercise??? Ever use that heavy rope, one in each hand and whip that sucker for all your are worth and feel like your arms just did a Houidini???

I never tried the ropes for one reason…

We were required to make our beds, do our laundry, yada, yada, yada, when we lived at home… and one thing I noticed as a teenager…

How hard it was for me to whip those sheets or blankets in the air and get them to settle on the bed in place…

I had no control… That was circa 1970…

By the time I went in the military, I was noticing more odd things, things that were not a big issue as a kid and then I did my reading recently and realized???..

Compartment syndrome can show up years after the injury…

The beating was at 5 years old, 1959 and the first real noticeable issue was between the brain bleed at 14 and before the last blow in 71… on Okinawa…

Sad to say, but I didn’t figure out the comparment syndrome until the brain fog for the last 40 years lifted… Always knew I had issues, but, I don’t diagnosis myself, I always sought answers from the Doctors and by accident and indirect and begging for tests…

The evidence was always there, but no one put it together… I was a bother…

So, when I make our beds or do anything that involve that kind of movement up and down with my arms, I am exhausted and there is a disease I thought I had, but don’t… It’s all compartment syndrome… Tests proved it…

So, that being said, that is why my left side is getting weaker and I am trying to figure that out… I know stretches are real important, mild low impact and strength trainging… PT on Hawaii taught me all that and I was doing a good routine, till we moved to Washington, did a 5 year flip in 3 and moved here and wham bham thank you mam, Homer is diagnosised… Full plate for sure…

Awareness is my safety net and getting off my ass and doing all of the things the kids taught me and I won’t fix the left side, but the muscle training will help me keep it active… It’s the nerves that are saying out of here, same with the waist down… I can’t feel the puppies laying on my legs most of the time… Some feeling is better, but I have a long long road ahead to get back to where I was 5 years ago…

I remember…

About Me

I am Maggi, given that name on Okinawa during the Vietnam war by a group of Marines in transit at Naha AFB… At 17 years old I didn’t know I was missing memory… I had lost the first 17 years of life and was about to embark on a journey of intrigue, murder, rape, military coverup and live a life, most only dream about… Will I ever remember my youth or will I always walk in shadow not knowing who I was…

This is my story of survival…
