#151… The Sadness is Gone… edited

I have had more bad experiences with mental health people than I have had positive…

Those are bruises from my scalp down… near death #1

The only positive one was at the El Paso VA and the guy was a brilliant psychologist, that was murdered by a patient at the VA facility… But he impacted my life before he died…

When I got a copy of the evaluation, he was the first to recognize PTSD instead of Personality Disorder…

Yep, they did that to a lot of military and it was all PTSD… 2011!!! I was discharged in 83…

I never got compensation, even though the military shrink got it wrong and I wonder how many patients he screwed up!!!

That was at Sheppard AFB 1982, and the guy should never had been in the business… Obviously.!!!! Or active duty!!!

Anyway, the doctor at El Paso said I had a above average IQ and I had PTSD because of my illness…

Now at first I was pissed, because I don’t have an illness, I have injuries and then I realized… He was talking about the PTSD it self… He was a good doctor…

I always avoid having my picture taken, if you look at my eyes, you’ll see sadness and now it’s gone…

Now I see life when I look in the mirror and I feel joy and freedom and most of all I feel me, I see me and I am advocating for me…

Once this estate mess is done, it won’t be anything else but Homer and me and that’s the way it should be, because, that is life in action…

As I go back and read the writing starting in May of this year, I can see the change in my mental health and it is something I have worked hard at, to undo all that Freda did…

It took that memory trigger November 5, 2017 and that woke up the memories from my childhood… The gap of 14 years of memory, most of it was gone… That stroke took a lot…

With the flash’s of memory lately, I have hope, once the court issues are done and I can focus on me and Homer… I may get more clarity… I am eager to start putting the book together, but I have so many stories, I am torn on how to do it… I got time…

Have a wonderful day…

I remember…

About Me

I am Maggi, given that name on Okinawa during the Vietnam war by a group of Marines in transit at Naha AFB… At 17 years old I didn’t know I was missing memory… I had lost the first 17 years of life and was about to embark on a journey of intrigue, murder, rape, military coverup and live a life, most only dream about… Will I ever remember my youth or will I always walk in shadow not knowing who I was…

Start at #1 to follow my story, being told in chronological order…
