#64… Thanks Doc!!!

Have you had cataract surgery yet?? In both eyes?? Yea, my time was the fall of 2019, just before COVID took us all to hell and back and I picked out my surgeon and used my medicare, because the VA kept jerking me around… They really are better at burying us…

After that eye surgery on the big island… My left lens clouded and that was a 50/50 chance on everyone who has the surgery… so they hit the lens with a laser… and I go off and live my life…

By the time we moved to Mississippi, I was having serious issues with the right eye, I thought it was cataracts again, but come to find out, you can’t get cataracts with a man made lens… Good to know, but they can cloud and that is what mine had done… and it made driving the last year, a whole lot of not fun…

Today was my appointment follow up after the doctor here hit my right eye with a laser to clear my lens and the difference, is like watching a TV with 320 DPI versus 4K TV, yea, you can’t help but wonder, how we watched tv all those years and didn’t go blind…

I go back in 6 months, because my left lens has a fold in it and if it don’t undo it’s self, the doc will fix it…

I am over the moon with my health care… Got a good civilian primary and got a good eye doc, and next month I see the urology specialist for my complaint the VA refused to act on… Took me 9 years to get a rectocell procedure through the VA last time… This time… I am using my medicare to get a diagnosis, then the VA can step in and PAY FOR IT!!!!

Long hot weekend ahead and I am back on top the 5th wheel, with a bigger, and different fan, because the last one I ordered, yea, I screwed up… oh well, you learn and hope you are smart enough to not repeat your last mistake…

Have a wonderful day… I am home for the weekend… and enjoying being able to see, everything…

I remember…

About Me

I am Maggi, given that name on Okinawa during the Vietnam war by a group of Marines in transit at Naha AFB… At 17 years old I didn’t know I was missing memory… I had lost the first 17 years of life and was about to embark on a journey of intrigue, murder, rape, military coverup and live a life, most only dream about… Will I ever remember my youth or will I always walk in shadow not knowing who I was…

Start at #1 to follow my story, being told in chronological order…
