It’s been challenging lately… Nice visit with grankid and the hot water heater in the RV breaks… visit over and we start looking it over closely, so we can put it up for sale, especially with El Nino kicking ass this year… and bath fan vent won’t close, so up on the roof to disable it, till replacement arrives Monday…

Hot water heater, well that’s a challenge… Tight space to hook up the water lines, everything else is up front and easy access and if I do it myself, fan, heater… I save about $750 in labor for a guy to do it for me… Yea, not happening…

Tropical storm yesterday was a reminder, I have to make all the calls and that meant, putting everything inside and somehow parking that monster truck in the garage to protect it from hail… which none happened… El Nino is going to be ugly this year…

In the last year, we learned for certain about Homer’s Alzheimer’s and in that years time… I have gone from mom, grandmom, wife to freaked out citizen looking for an escape… Anyone will do and there is none… no options… For better or worse, in sickness and in health…

Our anniversary is in a few days, along with Homer’s birthday, father’s day and our son’s birthday and his daughter’s birthday, born on our anniversary… A lot happens in a very few short days… No one remembers or acknowledges, gran kid always does, but her day was our day long before hers…

The challenges that come with your kids becoming the borderline seniors age and your gran kids fast becoming your kids age and you realize…

You accepted every challenge that came along and some of those involved life and death… Both of which I over shadowed…

I sit and look at my budget, which is squeaking now and figure how to pay $700 for a hot water heater, so we can put the 5th wheel up for sale and my household shopping just took a major blow… Squeeze it out somehow I always do and hope it all works out…

I look at the rv fan on the roof of that 40foot fifth wheel like I am looking at the heater… It’s only a challenge if I fail…
